Get to work

Back to work means back to dressing up. The holidays are great because you get a chance to see family and friends, eat tons of Christmas cookies, and wear mostly comfy clothing. Nothing is really out of the ordinary. Jeans? Sure! Leggings with a cozy flannel? Be my guest. But coming back to work after all of these wonderful holiday days can be hard. 

I'm a big fan of skirts, but when the weather outside is frightful, it can be less than appealing to bare your legs. However this adorable wool skirt from J.Crew changed my mind. The texture is amazing and very winter-appropriate, especially in this pretty cream color. Navy and cream is a classic color combination, and it's oh-so-simple to match accessories to. I went with a gold floral necklace and some nude flats with bows on the toes to finish off the look.
