Back in black

When in doubt, you can always go for black. Whether it's an outfit or an accessory, black can always be used. You can pair it with a multitude of bright colors, or a simple white for a bold look. 

I love the mixing of neutrals, and the bold-stripe silk skirt from J.Crew below is a beautiful example. I can see myself pairing this with a magenta blouse for a fun work outfit. Also, the Adia Kibur earrings are simple but gorgeous, and they can go beautifully with a little black dress, or jeans and a tee! See some of my favorite basic blacks.
